Spice For Life, LLC is a woman-owned social enterprise started by a professor, a lawyer and a business person to encourage healthy eating and provide more life opportunities for women and men who have been victims of human trafficking. Our mission is (1) to provide customers with an extensive array of fresh spices and unique spice blends, many of which are ground on site, to encourage home cooking and healthier eating, thus fostering more family time, and (2) to contribute back to the community by donating all our profits to nonprofit organizations in Northeast Ohio that work to prevent human trafficking and support its victims. The state of Ohio has the fourth highest recorded cases of human trafficking in the country.

Spice for Life & The Renee Jones Empowerment Center
The founders of Spice for Life, LLC have chosen The Renee Jones Empowerment Center as the initial beneficiary of their social enterprise mission. RJEC is a local 501(c) (3) organization which focuses its efforts on advocacy and social support for the survivors of human trafficking. RJEC also works directly with members of the judicial system and law enforcement, as well as local social service providers, hospitals, and charities in connecting victims to the Center. RJEC’s track record of providing these services in our community for more than 15 years made it an obvious choice for Spice for Life’s support.
