Winter Spiced Negroni
Ingredients
8 oz. Beefeater gin
8 oz. Campari
4 oz. Sweet vermouth
3 oz. Lemon juice
1 Cassia (cinnamon) stick
5 whole Cloves
10 Allspice berries, crushed
10 Coriander seeds crushed
1/2 Star anise
1/3 Nutmeg, grated
Directions
Toast all spices in a dry pan until they start to release aromas, shake pan frequently to prevent burning. Transfer to large sealed jar. Add remaining ingredients to jar. Let infuse for at least 3 hours.
Strain mixture through cheese cloth into large pitcher.
Add lemon juice to pitcher and stir, then add ice and stir again.
Pour into martini glasses, add a few cubes of ice from the pitcher into each glass, and serve.
